Hector Bardas is a carpenter under Master Hareod Ilsius and a militia captain in the city of Arcadia. Hector is one of the major POV characters in The Chronicles of Aerothos and is thirty-five years old at the start of The Fallen Banner.
Background[]
Hector grew up with his brother, Agenor, and their father, Caen. The family worked as fishermen in the town of Tredanos, though Hector left when he came of age to learn carpentry so that he may craft boats for his father and brother. While in Arcadia and studying under Hareod, Hector joined the militia, where he became a well-liked and respected captain. Hector stayed in Arcadia after he married Corrina, and together they had three children: Lysander, Leah, and Cassandra.
